ABEOKUTA- One Lekan boy age19 took colorado that was being given to him by his peer group and died on the spot, around Abule Oba Adigbe.
The Encounter News gathered that after the boy ate his evening meal of Ramadan, he went out to get something, saw his friend drinking Colorado, decide to have a treat too, but unfortunately went wrong on him.
He was said to be knocked out, immediately rushed to a private hospital which he was not administer, which lead them to taking him to General Hospital, Federal Medical Center at Idi – aba, Abeokuta.The horrific incident took place around 11PM to 12Am, on Tuesday 10th of April.
Talking to an eye witness who pleaded anonymous said the young man was going on an errand and saw his friends taking alcohol with Colorado and decide to join in the merriment but it went wrong in his system, after the terrific incident everyone left with immediate speed.
But it was gathered that the police had made an arrest of some of the boys present at the incident this morning.
The boys pleaded not being involved in the atrocity, stating that the deceased already had the colorado with him before joining their company, that he wasn’t offered colorado but was already taking it before joining the gathering.
Report had it that the landlord of the particular house and some boys was arrested, and still in the custody of the police, for further investigation.
