LAGOS – The Spokesman of the Nigerian Army 81 Division, Olaniyi Joseph Osoba has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.
Lt.Col. Osoba before his new appointment was a Major with the Nigerian Army.
Commissioned as a member of Short Service Course 34 and posted to the Directorate of Army Public Relations, Lieutenant -Colonel Osoba in the Course of his career has held several appointments, including Officer Commanding FOB Gambaru Ngala in Operation LAFIYA DOLE, Officer Commanding Bagadaza and Krenoa in Operation LAFIYA DOLE, Pioneer Public Relations Officer of Army War College Nigeria, Assistant Director Army Public Relations 9 Brigade.
The Acting Deputy Director, 81 Division Army Public Relations who was decorated on Monday has equally attended several courses, including Young Officers Course Infantry, Advance Public Relations Course, Joint Information Operations Course in United Kingdom, Strategy Development and Critical Thinking Course, Open Source Intelligence Course, Staff Course.
