Ex-managers Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger have been inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame, becoming the first managers to attain the prestigious position.
Both men would be remembered for their incredible successes in Manchester United and Arsenal respectively, winning a combined 16 Premier League titles establishing arguably the most famed rivalries in the competition’s history.
The Hall of Fame recognises and celebrates individuals who have an exceptional record of success and have made a significant contribution to the Premier League since its inception in 1992. It is the highest individual honour awarded by the League.
Arsene Wenger managed Arsenal for 22 seasons in the Premier League, and led the Gunners to winning the Premier League title three times, making history in 2003/04 campaign as ‘The Invincibles’ becoming the only team to win the title keeping their unbeaten run intact till the end of the campaign.
Sir Alex is the most successful manager in Premier League history, recording 13 titles, including winning the title for three seasons in a row on two separate occasions.
