ABEOKUTA – The Rotary Club of Ikeja District 9110 Nigeria will on Friday commission and handover borehole facility to Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta.
The borehole facility, which is a collaboration project of 10 Rotary Clubs in Abeokuta and Ikeja Lagos, was initiated in November, 2022 when the President of Ikeja Rotary Club, Rotarian Olusola Akinsiku led other Rotarians on courtesy visit to the Rector, Dr. Adeoye Odedeji.
The Polytechnic’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Yemi Ajibola in a press release said Imperial Majesties, the Alake of Egbaland, Oba (Dr.) Michael Adedotun Gbadebo; the Osile of Oke-Ona Egba, Oba Adedapo Tejuoso and The Onijale of Ijaleland, Oba Michael Babalola are among the dignitaries to grace the commissioning.
The District Governor of Rotary Club, District 9110, Rotarian Omotunde Lawson is the Special Guest while the Chief Host, Dr. Adeoye Odedeji, will lead Management team, Staff and Students to the event.
Commissioning will hold at the School of Environmental Studies of the Polytechnic by 10:00 am.
Staff and Students are expected to be seated by 9:30am.
