SWAN Hails Remo Stars Super 6 Qualification

ABEOKUTA – Sports Writers in Ogun State have congratulated the management and technical staff of Remo Stars Football Club, Ikenne-Remo for the club’s qualification for Super 6 play-off.

The pen professionals in a release signed by the Secretary, Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Ogun State chapter, Michael-Azeez Ogunsiji, said the team’s qualification for the NPFL Super 6 was not by sheer luck, but a dint of hard work, dedication, and commitment of both players, technical staff, and management of the club.

According to Ogunsiji, Remo Stars developmental stride has redefine football management in Nigeria and put the state on the world map again.

SWAN optimistic that Remo Stars will do well during the qualifying series and win the ticket to represent the country in next season’s continental competition.

The association urged the players to continue to work with determination and motivation to maintain the momentum displayed during the abridged league season and avoid any mistake that could hamper their continental ticket qualification.

SWAN used the opportunity to call on Ogun state government to study the developmental stride of Remo Stars to form an economically viable football team that will compete for honours and justify the taxpayer’s money.
