We’ll Intensify Efforts To Combat Terrorism in Nigeria – CDS Oluyede

ABUJA – Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede, says the Nigerian Armed Forces will double their efforts to contain terrorism throughout the country.

General Oluyede stated this shortly after meeting with the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, on Monday.

The CDS said contrary to the allegation by US President Donald Trump, there is no Christian persecution in Nigeria.

Trump had declared Nigeria a ‘Country of Particular Concern’ over allegations of Christian genocide in the country.
