ABEOKUTA – The Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth League is set to organize a loyalty walk on February 11, 2026, in Ijebu-Ode to show support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dapo Abiodun.
Over 5,000 youths from the state’s 20 local government areas are expected to participate, highlighting youth inclusion and civic engagement in governance.

The walk supports President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and Governor Abiodun’s development vision, focusing on youth empowerment, economic reforms, and infrastructure development.
The group recalled that a similar loyalty walk organised in 2020 and 2022 recorded massive youth participation and peaceful mobilisation, adding that the initiative was later adopted at the national level during the 2025 Democracy Day celebration in Abuja.
Governor Abiodun has expressed commitment to transforming Ogun youths’ image, prioritizing development and empowerment through information technology.
His administration has trained over 21,000 youths in vocational and digital skills, strengthening community policing and promoting self-reliance.
Reaffirming its commitment to peaceful and responsible mobilisation, the APC Youth League called on youths across the state to participate actively in the walk in support of reform, continuity and responsible citizenship.
