Yayi Welfare Scheme Moves To Abeokuta South, Reward APC Members With Deep Freezer, Cash Empowerment

ABEOKUTA – Yayi Welfare Scheme, a non-profit organization established to support the governorship bid of Senator Adeola Olamilekan Yayi on Thursday rewarded APC members with deep freezer and cash support to boost their businesses in Abeokuta South local government.
The Yayi Welfare Scheme is a poverty alleviation initiative put in place to ensure dividends of democracy are shared from bottom to top, particularly in the rural communities of Ogun Central.
Mrs. Aminat Adekanbi won the deep freezer of the Yayi Welfare Scheme, powered by Abeokuta North Team, in a raffle draw at the monthly meeting of Yayi Assembly in Oju Agemo, State Constituency 1, Ward 6 of Abeokuta South Local Government.

The 35year-old added that the support she got from the Yayi Welfare Scheme would alleviate her burden.
Mrs. Adekanbi, a mother of 3 disclosed that with the gift of a deep freezer, she would consider venturing into the selling soft drinks and other assorted drinks.

While speaking at the empowerment programme, the convener of Yayi Welfare Scheme, Hon. Yomade Biobaku highlighted the importance of the scheme by ensuring that people at the grassroots feel the impact of Sen. Olamilekan Yayi.
He also declared that the scheme was in tandem with the poverty alleviation vision of Sen. Olamilekan Yayi, importantly, by ensuring that non-partisan people also benefit largely from the dividends of democracy.
Biobaku urged members of the society to enrol for their permanent voter cards, adding that it remains the only tool to vote in Senator Yayi as Governor of Ogun state in 2027.
“We want you to get your PVC, the only tool you have to fight for your rights and liberate the generation to come during an election is your PVC. When you have it, we will consider you as our person. Yayi is the only option for us in 2027 to make Ogun great again.”

The chairman of Yayi Welfare Scheme, Alhaji Akeem Sobayo, popularly known as Alaga mesan, also encouraged the people to get their PVC.
He posited that only the blind would not see what Senator Yayi has done across the state as a serving senator from Ogun West Senatorial District.
The Encounter News observed that, the beneficiary of the deep freezer emerged from a raffle draw organized by the Yayi Welfare Scheme for party members at the ward meeting.
Another 20 members of the APC equally won cash prize of N10,000 respectively from the raffle draw.
Expressing his appreciation on behalf of the ward excos, a Commissioner in Ogun State House of Assembly Service Commission, Alhaji Wasiu Ajadi Bolarinwa commended the Yayi Welfare Scheme for their poverty alleviation programme.
Hon. Ajadi noted that there was no sentiment about the raffle draw, saying only the lucky winners were rewarded.
He called on the organizers of the scheme to extend the programme to other parts of Abeokuta South local government areas.
Notable dignitaries at the well-attended meeting are Hon. Boye Ijaduade, Chief Mrs. Taiwo Kehinde, Chief Mrs. Ramota Olope among others.
