Gov. Abiodun Approves Ogunbayo As New Odemo of Isara Remo

ABEOKUTA – The Ogun State Government has approved the appointment of Basorun Peter Oluwole Ogunbayo as the new Odemo of Isara Remo in Remo North Local Government Area.
The approval was granted by Governor Dapo Abiodun on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, following confirmation by the State Executive Council.
The move was part of ongoing efforts by the administration to strengthen traditional institutions and enhance grassroots governance across the state.
Ogunbayo, a native of the Otete Ruling House of Isara Remo, was born on April 23, 1970. He is widely regarded as an accomplished businessman and community leader with deep ties to the town.
He attended Army Children Primary School and Muslim High School in Sagamu before earning a Diploma in Estate Management from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Jos.
He began his career with the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing in Lagos before transitioning into private enterprise.
Over the years, he built a strong presence in real estate, consultancy, and industrial development.
As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AMBA Properties Limited and other affiliated companies, Ogunbayo has played a key role in facilitating industrial growth, particularly along the Sagamu industrial corridor, contributing to job creation and economic development in Ogun State.
A respected traditional titleholder and philanthropist, Ogunbayo holds the titles of Basorun of Isara Remo and Babalaje of Remo Land.
He has received several awards for leadership and excellence in commerce and industry and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Directors.
He has also contributed to community and church development initiatives in advisory capacities.
His appointment as Odemo of Isara Remo is expected to further strengthen traditional leadership, promote peace and unity, and drive development in Isara Remo and its surrounding communities.
