ABEOKUTA – Senator Solomon Adeola (APC, Ogun West), the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, has expressed great sadness and regrets at the demise of Mr. Taiwo Babatunde Hassan after an illness.
In a condolence message to the family of the late popular actor, the senator said the death of Mr. Hassan popularly called Ogogo by fans is a great loss to the creative and entertainment industry strsssing that his demise at this time is loss to the family, Ogun State and indeed, Nigeria.
“I am greatly sadden by the death of a brother who believed and worked assiduously for my cause and the cause of our people. I sympathize with his immediate family for their efforts and struggles to keep the dearly departed alive following his illness. God knows best in all circumstances “ the senator stated.
Senator Adeola said the late actor’s role in the drive for a better society through film making and other positive advocacy will always be remembered adding that he left a legacy worthy of emulation.
The senator promised to continue to support the immediate family in their hour of need adding that the good deeds of the patriarch of the family to the society will not be forgotten.
d..Senator Adeola prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the thespian and fortitude for the immediate family to bear the irreparable loss of dearly departed.
