The whopping sum of Eleven Million Naira was splashed on 30 members who had taken loans from microfinance banks, but were unable to pay back.
In addition, five students of the School Of Nursing, Abeokuta got scholarships, just as a physically challenged woman received the sum of Two Hundred Thousand Naira (N200,000) and a Wheelchair.
Similarly, a 50year-old widow who was in church earlier for her birthday thanksgiving with her family members, was presented with a cheque of One Million Naira for accommodation as she shared the story of how she was sent packing from her matrimonial home by her husband’s family over her inability to bear a child.
Apostle Achudume explained that there was need to give succour and a ray of hope to those who are in need of such.
The Setman at the Victory Life Bible Church while harping on the importance of thanksgiving and gratitude, called on people to acknowledge God in all situations.
The revered Man-Of-God who frowned at the incessant rate of divorces and broken marriages, urged married couples to make Christ the pillar of their home for a lasting Union.
He observed that while believers are not left out in this disturbing trend, it behoves on couples to give their marriages their best shot and try to resolve whatever differences that may come up amicably.
The beneficiaries who were short of words, were full of thanks to Apostle Achudume submitting that indeed God was using him as an instrument to better the cause of humanity.
