Consider Akeem Oluseye For Appointment, Ogun Youths Tells Gov. Abiodun

ABEOKUTA – A group of political youths, Ogun Youths for Equity and Social Justice (OYES) has urged Gov. Dapo Abiodun to consider Hon. Akeem Oluseye for a political appointment.

According to them, Hon. Oluseye is a core progressive has contributed immensely to the growth of APC through various empowerment programmes.

They argued that, Oluseye contributed in no small measure to the success of the governor in the last governorship election in Abeokuta North local government area of the state.

The group in an open letter to the governor jointly signed by Lawal Sebililah, Akintoye Sheriff and Kehinde Abdul Jaleel said the IT expert and revenue consultant was benefactor to the masses during the 2020 Covid-19 lockdown.

They said, “As a group and concerned citizens in the state, we are compelled to write you this letter to prepare you while picking a member of your cabinet from our dear Senatorial District, a process we believe will begin any moment from now.

“Without boring you with much words sir, we want to recommend to you, a young and vibrant politician from Ogun Central who has been consistent in this party, the All Progressives Congress and has been spending his time and resources for the progress of the party.

“This particular individual we are recommending is Hon. Akeem Oluseye who’s popularly known as HAO by his teeming supporters and politicians in the state.

“Hon. Oluseye is a core progressive who has never for once reneged from the progressive party even while he has not been rewarded.

“Oluseye is an IT expert, Businessman and Revenue Consultant whose wealth of experience has contributed to the IGR of many states in Nigeria.

“He contested the position of the Local Government between 2019 and 2021. Also an aspirant for the state House of Assembly in 2022. Without occupying any of these seats, he has not relented in his efforts to finance the party.

“Your Excellency Sir, Hon. Oluseye was at the forefront during your last election in Abeokuta North. He was put into major different committees of the party Governorship Election campaign.”
