Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has celebrated the loss of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Sokoto State.
Ahmed Aliyu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, defeated the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, with 453,661 votes. PDP’s Saidu Umar scored 404,632 votes.
Reacting, Fayose, while sipping wine in a video, said he was excited that Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal’s candidate lost the election.
