Emulate Prophet Ibrahim, Obey Agreement With Mankind, Tolulope Phillips Charges Nigerians

ABEOKUTA – As Nigerians celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, Hon. Tolulope Phillips has called on Muslim faithfuls, and Nigerians in general to live an exemplary life as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
Tolulope Phillips gave the charge on Thursday in his goodwill message to Muslim Ummah.
He used the occasion to felicitate the Tolu Phillips movement, the people of Abeokuta South, wishing them a joyous and peaceful celebration.
He lamented the struggles of many Nigerians, noting that the government’s failure to deliver on its promises has left many citizens unable to afford basic necessities, let alone enjoy festive celebrations.
“The government of Nigeria has failed its citizens; a lot of people can no longer afford a good meal in their homes for festivals,” he said.
Phillips, however, urged Nigerians to emulate the exemplary obedience of Prophet Ibrahim, who fulfilled his promise to Allah.
“As we celebrate Eid-el-Adha, let us reflect on the importance of keeping promises.
“If we all keep our promises, life will be a better place for us. I urge Nigerians, especially those with means, to make their neighbors happy and give hope to those in need.”
The PDP chieftain message is a timely reminder of the need for integrity and accountability in our personal and collective lives.
