Gov. Abiodun, Senator Yayi’s Performances Will Win LG Elections For APC – Hon. Bankole

ABEOKUTA – A member of the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon. Tolu Bankole has said that the performances of Governor Dapo Abiodun and Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi in Ogun West senatorial district will deliver the council polls for APC candidates on Saturday, 16th November, 2024.
Hon. Bankole who stated this during the grand finale of campaign rally for candidates of the party in Yewa South local government area of the state, said the giant strides of Governor Dapo Abiodun and Senator Yayi had touched all the nooks and crannies of the state.
Hon. Bankole who is also APC leader on Disability described APC as the party to beat in the state, saying that opposition parties should wait for another period.
He, however, implored all eligible electorates to come out en masse to vote for all the candidates of the party in the local government elections slated for Saturday 16th November, 2024.
“Governor Dapo Abiodun’s performance in the five years in the area of road infrastructure and other development strides across the twenty local government areas of the state will make the local government elections easier for APC candidates.”
According to him, the contributions of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi to Ogun West Senator district would also paved the way for the success of the party on Saturday.
Also, a member representing Yewa South/ Ipokia Federal constituency, Hon. Akinlade Abiodun Isiaq said there is the need for residents of the state to troop out in large numbers to elect the candidates under the All Progressives Congress for sustainable development.
Hon. Akinlade noted that it is time for people to enjoy the dividends of democracy at the grassroots level with the local government autonomy they have been yearning for.
Earlier, APC Chairman for Yewa South local government, Alhaji Nojimdeen Adenle appealed to eligible voters come out on Saturday to vote for the candidates of the All Progressives Congress for the sustained renewed hope of the present administration.
The Party’s flag bearer for Saturday’s elections, Barrister Abraham Babatunde Ogunsola assured the people of Yewa South local government area of the state of running an open door policy If elected on Saturday.
Barrister Ogunsola who thanked the governor and other leaders of the party for the confidence reposed on him promised to sustain the various programmes of the present administration in the state especially the ISEYA Mantra.
The rally was attended by leaders across the ten wards in the council area, traditional rulers, religious groups, artisans and market women among others.
