His interventions have brought relief to thousands of residents who had experienced prolonged power outages, reinforcing his dedication to the well-being of his constituents.
As Chairman of the House Committee on Community and Cooperative Society, and Vice Chairman of the House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy, Hon. Awolaja has leveraged his leadership positions to drive impactful grassroots projects.

One notable example of his commitment is the swift intervention in Obalende, Isara Remo, where he facilitated the repair of a faulty transformer.
Recognising the urgent need for electricity restoration, he committed necessary resources to complete the repairs, bringing much-needed relief to residents.
Similarly, Hon. Awolaja played a crucial role in restoring power supply to three communities in Ode Remo: Oke Ola, Orita Mafoon/Oke Ikanna axis, and Larufin Community.
His support ensured the repair of three transformers, restoring electricity supply to the densely populated areas and enabling businesses and daily activities to thrive.
Hon. Awolaja’s efforts extend beyond repairs to new electrification projects. In Ajigbotifa, Isara Remo, he provided substantial financial support for energizing the new transformer donated by Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu. Ensuring proper installation and connection, Hon. Awolaja enabled the community to fully benefit from this vital infrastructure.
Most recently, Hon. Awolaja intervened in Ijabata Ward 2, Isara Remo, where a faulty feeder pillar had left the community without electricity for nearly a month.
He released the complete fund needed for the purchase of a stronger and modern feeder pillar to replace the faulty one which restored electricity supply in the area and saving thousands from prolonged hardship.
