NFF President Charges State FA To Collaborate With SWAN On Football Devt, Balanced Reportage

KANO – The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has unveiled plans to forge a strategic partnership with the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) aimed at enhancing football development and reportage across the nation.

The NFF President, Ibrahim Gusau disclosed this on Thursday at the SWAN Full Council Meeting and National Awards Conferment Ceremony in Kano State.

Represented by Mr. Ali Sani, the NFF President said the initiative signifies a significant step towards fostering synergy between football governing bodies and media organizations, recognizing the pivotal role of sports journalism in shaping public perception and promoting the growth of the sport.

He urged state football associations to collaborate with SWAN in their respective states for the growth of football in the country.

He stressed that, through this partnership, the NFF aims to leverage on SWAN’s expertise and extensive network to amplify its initiatives and engage stakeholders at all levels of football administration.

He emphasized the importance of constructive engagement between sports administrators and media professionals in advancing the football landscape.
