NYG Asaba: Team Ogun Medals Table Soar Up With 4 Gold In Taekwondo, Gymnastics, Shooting

ASABA – Team Ogun at the ongoing National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State continued its impressive run by winning additional 3 gold medals and 2 silver and two bronze medals on Tuesday night to move up to 7th on the medals table.

The duo of Oladele Oluwafunbi and Adekanmi Temidayo won 2 gold in aerobics gymnastics, while Shuaib Mufadil and Olujimi Iremiposi won 1 silver and 1 bronze in trampoline power tumbling and Taekwondo events respectively.

Team Ogun had previously won 1 gold in shooting, 5 silver, 7 bronze in Shooting, Ayo Olopon, table tennis, and Para table tennis to make the total medal haul to 18 as at Day 6.

Team Ogun will continue its outing on Wednesday in Chess, Darts, Athletics, Volleyball, boxing, cricket, swimming, golf and football.
