Court Removes Kwankwaso, Compels INEC To Restore Aniebonam Led NNPP Leadership

ABEOKUTA – Proof of Service of the Judgement of Abia State High Court compelling INEC to recognize the Board of Trustees of NNPP led by Dr. Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam as the legal Authority of the party was served on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) by the Bailiff of the Court.
This landmark judgment implies that INEC is under the command of the Court to amend and update its records to reflect the decisions of the Board of Trustees of Dr. Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam as regards the constitution of the National Working Committee ( NWC) and other relevant organs of the Party.
In a statement signed by the National Secretary of NNPP, Comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday and made available to pressmen at the weekend in Abeokuta, a new National Working Committee NWC of the Party has been constituted and ratified by the Board of Trustees in tandem with the dictates of the Judgement of the Abia State High Court.
According to Comrade Oginni, “The good news is that the compelling judgment of the Abia state high court is for INEC to recognize and deal with Dr. Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam, the Founder and Chairman Board of Trustees of the New Nigeria People’s Party. This simply means that INEC is under command to amend its records to reflect New developments in NNPP”
The National Secretary also explained that Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso the self-acclaimed leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party was long ago expelled from the Party with Elder Buba Galadima and the entire members of the National Working Committee of Kwankwaso’s group led by Dipo Olayoku, Kawu and Dr. Ahmed Ajuji.
According to Oginni, a sudden end has come to the shenanigans of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and his unemployed characters who are adversely affected by the Abia High Court Judgement, noting that the Board of Trustees had confirmed that Dr. Agbo Major Gilbert led National Working Committee are the authentic leaders of the New Nigeria People’s Party.
Oginni called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to as a matter of urgency make sure that the New Nigeria People’s Party’s records are amended and updated in accordance with the obedience to the Rule of Law.
