KADUNA: Bandits have again raided Riche community in Kagarko LGA of Kaduna State, injured three people and abducted 18 others.
City & Crime learnt that Rikije, which is located along the Abuja-Kaduna highway, is about two kilometres from Kagarko town.
A resident, Shuaibu Liman, said the incident happened around 11pm on Thursday, when the bandits in their large numbers wielding sophisticated weapons invaded the community amid gunshots, injured three people and abducted 18 others.
The village chief’s secretary in Janjala, Usman Babangida, confirmed the latest abduction through telephone to our reporter on Sunday.
There was no response from the Kaduna State Police Command over the latest incident.
