Popular Nigerian Pastor, Apostle Achudume Hands Out Daughter In Marriage

ABEOKUTA – The wedding ceremony of Chidinma Achudume and Aduragbemi Lawal was a truly unforgettable event filled with glamour, elegance, and spiritual fervour.
The ceremony, which took place at the Victory Life Bible Church International in Abeokuta, was a testament to the couple’s commitment to each other and their faith.
The event was attended by numerous dignitaries, including government officials, religious leaders, and prominent members of society. Among those in attendance were the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, and the wife of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Chief (Mrs.) Bola Obasanjo.
The ceremony was officiated by Bishop Taiwo Adelakun, who delivered a powerful sermon entitled “Seven Things A Couple Must Do To Get It Right.”
In his message, Bishop Adelakun emphasized the importance of teamwork, prayer, and communication in marriage.
He urged the couple to always pray together, eat together, sleep together, play together, have God together, discipline together, and talk together for a lasting union.
Also, speaking at the event was Pastor Matthew Asimolowo, who advised the couple to nurture their love and affection for each other. He noted that the heart is not where it is but where it loves.
The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, was represented at the event by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, who expressed confidence that the couple would make a great team.
He praised the couple’s families for instilling good values and principles in them and wished them a happy and fulfilling marriage.
The ceremony was followed by a lavish reception, which was attended by many notable guests. The evening was filled with music, dance, and merriment, as friends and family gathered to celebrate the union of Chidinma and Aduragbemi.
On his part, the Chairman of the occasion, Engr. Gideon Ikhene, in his charge to the couple, urged them to keep the flame of love burning in their hearts at all times, noting that when love appears strongest, faults cannot breed.
In separate interviews, Apostle Lawrence Achudume, the father of the bride, expressed his joy and gratitude, saying, “We are thrilled to celebrate the union of our beloved daughter, Chidinma, and Aduragbemi. We have always known them to be a great couple, and we are confident that they will make a wonderful life together.”
