“However, since the departure of Ms. Joyce Opeyemi Obatusin, Mr. Oluwatobi Ojumu has been on my constant trail demanding that Ms. Joyce Opeyemi Obatusin be brought back to Nigeria, else that I will be dealt with by some cult members identified as: The AXE”, I have found it difficult to stay at home and similarly, my family members have been in constant danger.
“It will also be recalled that sometimes in June 2022, I was attacked by a group of hoodlums in the GRA Ibara Area of Abeokuta affirming that they were from Mr. Oluwatobi Ojumu who claimed that I arranged the escape of Ms. Joyce Opeyemi Obatusin out of Nigeria.
“My client’s father, Reverend Ayo Obatusin was a victim of the constant threat posed by Mr. Oluwatobi Ojumu which eventually led to his death.”
While urging the police to investigate the matter, the legal practitioner said Ojumu also threatened to kill his wife if she ever returns to the country.
