ABEOKUTA – The senator representing Ogun West senatorial district at the national Assembly, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, has been described as the type of leader the district needs to push its development agenda.
In a press statement released by the Yewa –Awori Development Forum, YADEF at Joga-Orile in Yewa North Local Government area of the district, the group declared its unreserved endorsement of the senator as the man to lead Yewa-Awori into the promise land.
The statement which was signed by its Coordinator, Chief Bisi Adekunle, reads in parts, “YADEF, as a promoter of development for our people, has taken studied look at the meticulous representation of our serving senator, Solomon Olamilekan Adeola YAYI and we are convinced that he has a genuine desire to uplift his people. Our conviction is further boosted by the on-going commissioning of his projects across the five local governments of Ogun West”.
“There is nothing that showcases performance like result. Senator YAYI’s performance is unprecedented both in quality and quantity. We observe that his projects are development focused and not just playing to the gallery. Projects such as healthcare centers, blocks of classrooms, ICT centers, community roads, markers, town halls, rural electrification and lots more – are directed at the people and will help to close the development gap in the area”.
The group said the senator has proven beyond doubt that he has the capacity to develop the region if given more responsibility at a higher level.
“We have no doubt whatsoever that if given executive powers, he will do more for our people. Never in the history of Ogun West has a legislator embarked on these scales of intervention and just like the biblical Moses, Senator YAYI is the man to lead Yewa-Awori to the promise land and the facts are there”.
