IBADAN – Skit maker Sanku Olaniyi popularly known as Mrsankucomedy has passed away in a car accident with a friend.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday September 1, 2025.The heartbreaking update comes after earlier reports that Sanku was involved in a terrible car accident on Monday, September 1, along Ogbomoso Road, Oyo State.
He was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Sanku began his comedy career in 2021 and rose to fame in 2024 after releasing a freestyle video that garnered over 70,000 views.
His unique style and humor quickly earned him a loyal fan base.
