ABEOKUTA – The management of Stormers Sports Club has sought the support of the Ogun State government through partnership with the Ministry of Sports Development.
The President, Stormers SC, Otunba Tony Rafua, sought the partnership on Friday during the presentation of jersey to the Commissioner for Sports Development, Hon. Wasiu Isiaka.
Rafua said the presence of the government at every match day would boost the morale of the players.
He commended the state government for providing good facilities for clubs to thrive.
Responding, the Commissioner for Sports Development, Hon. Wasiu Isiaka assured all football clubs representing the state at NLO, NNL, and NPFL will receive government’s support.
Isiaka urged the teams to build their fan base and be good representatives of the state in the 2025/26 season.
