Ogun BEES Director Announces Burial Date For Late Mother

ABEOKUTA – The burial ceremony of Mama Bernice Modupeola Adelakun, mother of Director, Ogun State Bureau Of Electrical & Engineering Services (BEES), Engr. Sunday Adelakun has been scheduled to hold on August 28 and 29, 2025, in Ilaro-Yewa.
Recalled that Mama Bernice Modupeola Adelakun was reported dead on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the ripped age of 105.
The family, in a statement on the burial ceremony to celebrate the life and times of their mother, disclosed that the event will take place at Our Saviour’s Anglican Church, Federal Polytechnic Road, Ilaro by 10am prompt.
Meanwhile, the Christians wake keep otherwise known as service of songs which was scheduled to hold on Thursday 28th day of August will take place at Oba Kehinde Olugbenle Pavilion, Empire Field Ilaro by 4pm.
The family statement reads, “With Submission to God for a life well spent The Families of late Chief Adelakun of Igan Alade announce the celebration of the life and times of our Mother in Israel, Grand Mother, Great Grand mother, Sister and Aunty who passed away onto glory on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at the age of 105.
The date for the final burial ceremony has been finally scheduled for Thursday 28th and 29th day of August, 2025, in Ilaro-Yewa.
Meanwhile, the Alaketu Illustrious Descendants [A.I.D] had earlier written a condolence message that was e-signed by the founder and coordinator, Wale Ajayi, on behalf of membership across the globe to commiserate with Engineer Sunday Adelakun and the entire family.
According to AID’s condolence message, it was difficult to believe when the sad news was broken. Indeed, the demise was a big blow to the family and good people of Ketu kingdom. It is, therefore, indisputable that mama’s legacies are immense and will remain indelible in our hearts.
