ABEOKUTA – The Ogun State Correspondent of Silverbird Television, Olusegun Olukoga has been nominated as the Best Reporter of the Year by the Ace Award Media.
The renowned media outfit and publisher of a monthly magazine, Ace Celebrity, nominated Olukoga for the conferment of the 2023 ACE Award Celebrating Excellence in recognition of his immeasurable efforts and contributions to the development of Nigeria.
This was contained in a letter of notification addressed to the recipient by L.O Adeleke, CEO Ace Award Media.
According to the letter, the award will be formally presented to Olukoga on July 8, at the H3 Event Hall, Opp, Nigeria Immigration Service, Oke Mosan Abeokuta, Ogun state.
Olukoga, a Senior Correspondent with over 15 years journalism experience, will be honoured alongside Arise TV’s controversial anchor, Oseni Rufai.
According to the organization, the Award of Excellence 2023 AS BEST REPORTER OF THE YEAR will be conferred on Olukoga, saying the “essence of this award is to encourage you to do more, and challenge others in their chosen careers.”
The media outfit described him as “an astute, quintessential and trailblazer in broadcasting Industry which has earned you repute among your peers in Ogun State, especially your contribution to the youth and nation development in the area of broadcasting services.”
It reads ”We are pleased to inform you that the above-named organization has nominated you, for the conferment of the 2023 ACE Award Celebrating Excellence in recognition of your, immeasurable efforts and contributions to the development of our dear country Nigeria
