Talabi Commends Gov. Abiodun, Ogun APC for Backing Tinubu’s Reforms, Predicts Resounding 2027 Victory

ABEOKUTA – A senatorial aspirant in Ogun Central Senatorial District, Dr. Olamide Davies Talabi has applauded Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State for their unwavering belief in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic reform agenda.
Speaking after a well-attended town hall meeting where the Ogun APC officially endorsed President Tinubu for a second term in office, Talabi described the endorsement as a bold and timely declaration of confidence in the President’s leadership and vision for Nigeria.
She noted that although President Tinubu secured victory in Ogun State during the 2023 general election, the party is determined to deliver what she described as a “landslide victory” in 2027.
According to her, the united stance of party leaders and members across the state demonstrates strong grassroots support and renewed commitment to the President’s Renewed Hope agenda.
Talabi expressed appreciation to Governor Abiodun for what she termed his impactful governance and developmental strides across Ogun State.
She also commended the Ogun APC structure for its loyalty, unity, and dedication to strengthening the party ahead of future elections.
“The massive turnout at the town hall meeting is a clear reflection of the acceptance, popularity, and growing influence of the APC in Ogun State,” she said.
“The enthusiasm and joy displayed by party faithful, especially from Ogun Central Senatorial District, show that the people are fully aligned with the party’s vision.”
The current Secretary of the APC in the United States of America, Talabi expressed strong optimism about the long-term impact of President Tinubu’s policies.
She stated her firm belief that by the end of his eight years in office, Nigeria would recover much of what it had lost over the past six decades.
She described the President’s policies as “world-class and forward-thinking,” adding that the ongoing reforms and infrastructure projects would reposition Nigeria as a prime destination for foreign investors.
Talabi particularly highlighted the pace and scale of work on the Coastal Road project and other major infrastructure developments across the country, saying she was highly impressed by the speed and quality of execution.
“It is not surprising,” she said, “that our hardworking President is constantly engaging with global leaders and strengthening Nigeria’s ties with notable countries to build a stronger and more resilient economy.”
She expressed confidence that once key projects are completed, Nigeria’s economy would experience significant growth, attract increased foreign direct investment, and ultimately strengthen the national currency.
Talabi concluded by reaffirming her commitment to mobilizing support for the APC in Ogun State and beyond, emphasising that unity, consistency, and belief in the reform agenda remain crucial to achieving sustainable national development.
