Actress Toyin Abraham has said the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is indeed the choice of the people.
Abraham also stated the former Lagos Governor truly emerged as the winner of the presidential poll conducted on February 2023.
She made these remarks while responding to an inquisitive fan who perhaps sought clarity on Tinubu’s victory and the people’s choice.
The fan identified as Celebrity Painter asked: “Aunty Toyin, is Tinubu really the people’s choice, did he really win the election?”
In her response, the mother of two explained many people actually voted for the president-elect but the fear of being bullied and cursed made them maintain silence about their candidate.
She cited how she was subjected to constant trolling and curses because she was vocal about Tinubu as her preferred candidate.
However, the movie maker noted all that was in the past as she urged all to concentrate on building a great country.
“Yes darling he is, a lot of people are just scared of bullies and curses so they didn’t say anything online but they voted for him, I know a lot of like that”, she said.
“Imagine all the curses I got but it’s all past tense now at least he is our president so let’s all just focus. Let’s focus on building and making our country great. Hope that answers your question, my love.”
