ADA Woos Nigerians, Says PDP, APC Have Failed

ABUJA – The All Democratic Alliance (ADA) has called on Nigerians, especially youths and women, to join hands with it to salvage the country.

ADA, one of the political associations short-listed by the Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC) for registration as a political party, said it represents a new dawn in the politics of the country.

The association, in a statement by its National Secretary, Umar Ardo, yesterday, said the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have failed the country and lost the moral right to continue to lead the people.

He stressed that allowing the two dominant political parties to maintain their grip on power beyond 2027 is tantamount to a death sentence in the country.

“The hour of decision is now. Nigeria cannot afford another wasted election cycle. It must not be business as usual in 2027. The recycled politicians of APC, PDP and others have forfeited every moral right to lead this country. They have failed, and failed woefully. Their continued grip on power is a death sentence for Nigeria’s survival as a nation.”

He noted that, “a new dawn is possible, if the patriotic elites, men and women, and the Nigerian youths, unite under one banner, the ADA banner. “Together, we can birth a political renaissance rooted in justice, sacrifice, innovation, unity and service. And together, we can pull our people out of the kilter, restore trust in governance and rebuild the moral fabric of our nation.

“This is no longer a choice; it is a duty; to stand aside is to betray Nigeria.

To join hands is to save her. Let history remember us not as the generation that watched Nigeria die, but as the one that rose, united and gave her a new lease of life. Let ADA be the standard-bearer of that rebirth.”

He further explained that “ADA is not just another party, it is the moral rebirth of our nation. It is the rallying point for every patriotic Nigerian elite who still believes in truth, justice, service and sacrifice.

“This is our chance to salvage democracy and rebuild Nigeria. And we call on all patriots to join forces with us under the ADA platform not just to rescue the country but to also help her thrive.”

According to him, ADA is set to reverse the neglect of youth and women in the country, and give them a pride of place, as true partners in shaping the country’s future.

“That is why ADA is Nigeria’s Ark of Noah; the vessel that will carry this nation out of the wilderness of exploitation, insecurity, poverty, disunity and hopelessness, into the promised land of security, prosperity, unity and dignity. But, as the building of this Ark is not yet complete, it requires your hands to consummate it, your will to steer it and your courage to defend it. As the job of registering the ADA has just started, it needs your participation to accomplish the process. We, therefore, call upon all and sundry to support and join the ADA for the task it sets to accomplish for the sake of our people and country.”
