Gov. Yusuf’s Exit From NNPP, End Of An Era – National Secretary

ABEOKUTA – The National Secretary of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Mr. Oginni Olaposi has described the exit of Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano State has a signal to the end of Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s political rascality and inglorious reign.
Oginni in a statement issued in Abeokuta on Sunday, said the 2023 Presidential Candidate of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso is now politically naked with the resignation of Gov. Abba Yusuf from the party.
The NNPP’s scribe admitted that the party leadership has accepted in good faith the resignation of the Kano State Governor, describing it as an end of era of Kwankwaso’s ingratitude and betrayal that culminated in internal wranglings and leadership tussles cited by Gov. Abba Yusuf as reasons for his exit from the party.
He posited that, the national headquarters of New Nigeria People’s Party led by Dr. Agbo Gilbert Major wished Gov. Abba Yusuf best of luck in his future political endeavors while appealing to the teeming members to remain calm and resilient in collective efforts to build a very strong political platform that is capable of giving Nigerians a New Nigeria.
“It is highly unfortunate that Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso is more of a curse than blessing for allowing the avoidable internal wranglings in our dear party to degenerate into the exit of our dear Governor and other elective officers in Kano State.
“The fact that Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso is unable to manage the success of NNPP in Kano showed clearly that Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso is a complete failure that should not be trusted again by any meaningful Nigerian. His selfish Presidential or Vice Presidential ambition is now dead on arrival.
“New Nigeria People’s Party has been in existence for the past 25 years without Kwankwaso and his Kwakwasia’s group…
“It is very germane to let the whole world know that the Founder of New Nigeria People’s Party Dr. Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam is a wonderful leader and a messenger of God with the message of New Nigeria to Nigerian People.
Kwankwaso betrayed the trust of our Founder , Dr. Boniface Aniebonam who gave him a free Presidential ticket to contest in the 2023 election. What we are all witnessing today is the consequence of that betrayal by Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
“It is very evident that the New Nigeria People’s Party shall continue to wax stronger and greater with the light at the end of the tunnel now and beyond 2027.”
