ABEOKUTA – The Federal Commissioner representing Ogun State at the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), Hon. Akeem Akintayo Amosun, has lauded the emergence of Mrs. Kudirat Abiodun Balogun (née Adegunwa) as the Deputy Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 Ogun State governorship election.
Amosun described her selection as a strategic and commendable decision by the party leadership, noting that it reflects the APC’s commitment to competence, experience, and effective leadership.
In a statement issued through his Media Aide, the RMAFC Commissioner said Mrs. Balogun’s extensive experience in the private sector, particularly in financial management and administration, would significantly complement the governorship ambition of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as YAYI.
According to him, the YAYI/Kudirat ticket represents a strong and capable partnership with the vision, expertise, and leadership qualities required to drive Ogun State’s continued growth and development.
“The emergence of Mrs. Kudirat Abiodun Balogun as the APC Deputy Governorship candidate is a welcome development. It demonstrates the party’s resolve to place capable and experienced individuals in positions where they can make meaningful contributions.
“Her wealth of experience in private security administration and financial management will undoubtedly strengthen the administration Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola seeks to offer the people of Ogun State,” Amosun stated.
He further described the YAYI/Kudirat ticket as a balanced and formidable combination that embodies competence, integrity, experience, and a shared commitment to advancing the interests of Ogun State and its people.
Amosun therefore called on APC members, party stakeholders, and residents of Ogun State to rally behind the party’s candidates and work collectively towards securing victory in the 2027 general election.
He also urged eligible voters across the state to participate actively in the electoral process by supporting APC candidates, expressing confidence that the YAYI/Kudirat team possesses the vision and capacity needed to accelerate socio-economic development and deliver greater prosperity for Ogun State.
The RMAFC Commissioner reaffirmed his commitment to supporting policies, programmes, and leaders dedicated to promoting sustainable development, economic progress, and a brighter future for the people of Ogun State.
