Muda Lawal Stadium Comes Alive As Abeokuta Allstars Football Association’s Annual Four-Team Tournament Final Holds Today
ABEOKUTA – All is set for the finals of the All Stars Football Association (ASFA), Abeokuta, 2026 Annual Four-Team Tournament to be played on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Muda Lawal Stadium, Asero, Abeokuta.
This follows an exciting series of matches filled with outstanding displays of talent, sportsmanship, and community spirit during the preliminary stage.
According to a press statement by the Association’s Public Relations Officer, Martins Edemirukaye, the third-place match will see Team Citadel take on The Ambassadors, with both sides determined to conclude their campaign on a positive note by securing third place.
The day’s main attraction would be the championship final, where Brilliant FC will face Team Dynamo in a keenly contested battle for the coveted 2026 Annual Four-Team Tournament title.
Martins maintained that, the successful progression of the tournament demonstrated the association’s unwavering commitment to promoting veterans’ football, healthy living, friendship, and community development through sport.
He noted that, the President of the All Stars Football Association Abeokuta, Alhaji Salmon Akinbo, commended the participating teams, supporters, sponsors, officials, and football enthusiasts for their contributions to the success of the competition.
He expressed confidence that the final matches would provide a fitting conclusion to another successful edition of the tournament.
The Chairman of the Local Organising Committee, Dr. Praise Folaji, reaffirmed the committee’s readiness to deliver a professionally organised and memorable finale while encouraging residents, families, supporters, and football lovers to attend and witness the exciting conclusion of the tournament.
Martins stressed that, under the tournament theme, “Four Teams, One Champion, Endless Excitement,” spectators can expect a thrilling conclusion marked by entertaining football, fair play, camaraderie, and memorable moments that celebrate the enduring passion for the game among veteran footballers.
According to the match schedule, the Third place match between Team Citadel vs The Ambassadors will come up at 7:30 a.m, while the grand final between Brilliant FC vs Team Dynamo comes up by 9am.
