Ogun NIPR Chairman, Seun Boye Pens Glowing Eulogy To Husband @60 Birthday

ABEOKUTA – The Chairman of the Ogun State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Mrs. Oluwaseun Boye, has celebrated her husband, Otunba Dehinde Boye, on his 60th birthday, describing the milestone as a testimony to God’s faithfulness, a celebration of a life of impact, and the culmination of 34 years of meritorious public service.
Otunba Dehinde Boye, who attained the age of 60 on August 19, 2026, also retired from the Ogun State Property and Investment Corporation (OPIC), where he served for 34 years. He retired as the Director of Marketing and Business Development and the most senior Director in the Corporation, bringing to a close a distinguished career dedicated to the service and development of Ogun State.
In a heartfelt birthday tribute, Mrs. Boye expressed gratitude to God for the life of her husband, acknowledging the lives he has touched and the remarkable journey they have shared together.
She described the attainment of 60 as a significant milestone, made even more remarkable by his retirement after 34 years of dedicated service, noting that it was an opportunity to celebrate not only his age but also the values, sacrifices, hard work, commitment and kindness that have defined his journey.
According to her, “Your life is a testimony of God’s faithfulness, and I am grateful for every chapter we have shared.”
Mrs. Boye prayed that the new decade would usher in greater joy, sound health, divine wisdom, peace and fulfilment for her husband, while expressing the hope that the years ahead would be even more rewarding than those already lived.
Drawing inspiration from the scriptures, she quoted Psalm 91:16: “With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation,” praying that her husband would enjoy the fulfilment that comes with a life well lived and witness the fruits of his dreams, prayers and labour.
She also prayed that he would continue to flourish and remain fruitful even in his later years, describing his 60th birthday and retirement as the beginning of another meaningful chapter filled with purpose, opportunities and greater fulfilment.
While celebrating the milestone with affection, the Ogun NIPR Chairman described her husband as “a gift from God, my bestie, partner and king,” expressing excitement about the years ahead and praying for more laughter, adventures, family moments and achievements together.
“My love, 60 looks good on you! Here’s to more laughter, more adventures, more family moments, more achievements and many more years together,” she added.
