Governor Abiodun’s Aide, Ifekayode Akinbode, Loses Mother

ABEOKUTA — The Senior Special Assistant on Broadcast and Electronic Media to Ogun State Governor, Prince Ifekayode Akinbode, has lost his mother, Mrs. Jesse Oluwasesan Aduke Akinbode (Nee Oke).
Mrs. Akinbode, who was described by her family as a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, hailed from Ago-Ilaro in Oke-Odan, Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State.
She was also a member of the Soyanwo family of Ibefun in Odogbolu and was married to the late Omooba Sunday Akanbi Akinbode of the Adubiwaji Royal House of Ibara Kingdom, Abeokuta.
The deceased is survived by six children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Announcing her passing on behalf of the family, Prince Akinbode said the family was mourning the loss of its matriarch, while appealing for prayers and support during the difficult period.
He added that details of the funeral rites and burial arrangements would be announced by the family at a later date.
He said further information on the burial arrangements will be communicated by the family in due course.
