ABEOKUTA – In furtherance of their support for the Presidential bid of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dapo Abiodun second term bid, a group of progressives within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, Justice and Equity Forum on Tuesday gave out cash of N5million to members of the party in Abeokuta South Local Government.
The empowerment programme which took place at Gbokoniyi, Onikolobo, Abeokuta had in attendance leaders of APC in Abeokuta South Local Government.
The empowerment which saw over 200 members gotten cash gift was part of strategies to reward loyal party members in the New Year.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke with journalists expressed satisfaction in the conduct of the exercise, while also pledging their support for the reelection bid of governor Dapo Abiodun and the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Leaders present at the event are Aare Remilekun Bakare- Chairman, Ogun state property and investment corporation, Hon. Tajudeen Egunjobi, S.A on Housing; Hon. Yusuf Adejojo, Member OGHA, and Hon. Adeyemi Ademuyiwa, Member OGHA.
Others are Hon. Farooq Akintunde, Hon. Abiodun Ajayi, Hon. Desmond, G9 Chairmanship aspirants and DA Councillors.
