ABEOKUTA – Ahead of the 2027 general elections in Ogun State, the All Progressives Congress in Ado-Odo-Ota Local Government Area on Friday unveiled its campaign council.
The council, comprising of a 9-member Supreme Advisory Council members and 25 standing committees, is expected to deliver all APC candidates for the forthcoming general elections in the local government and federal constituency.
Also, in a bid to ensure that the campaign reaches the grassroots and hinterland, the campaign was broken down to accommodate five Local Council Development Areas with full structures set up for them.
In a release signed by the local governments campaign directorate, the council said, “After thorough deliberation and consultation at the leadership level, the directorate hereby release the final list of party leaders and members who will run the 2026/27 electioneering campaign of All Progressives Congress Ado Odo- Ota local government”.
The campaign council, according to the statement, will be inaugurated on Monday 2nd November 2026 at the Ado Odo- Ota local Government Council Hall by 10am prompt.
