Cleric Charges New ANBROAD Leadership To Reshape Broadcasting Industry

ABEOKUTA – Bishop Jeremiah Tunji Okunlola of the African Church, Solution Camp, Abeokuta has appealed to the newly sworn-in National Executives of Association of Nigerian Broadcasters (ANBROAD) to establish a strong foundation for future generations in the broadcasting industry.

Bishop Okunlola said Broadcasters as mouthpiece of the society must create a template of programmes that would inculcate moral teachings and enrich societal values.

The man of God disclosed this on Sunday at a thanksgiving service to mark the successful swearing-in ceremony of the ANBROAD’s National Executives held at the African Church Solution Camp, Abeokuta, Ogun state.

Bishop Okunlola, therefore, charged the new national executives to bridge gaps with other discerning members of the association to foster growth and unity.

In his remarks, the National President of the association, Alh. AbdulRasaq AbdulGaneey affirmed that apart from being a broadcaster he’s also a politician who knows what it takes to contest an election either win or lose.

He gave glory to God for his triumph in the last association elections, saying ANBROAD is the platform that allows the owners of broadcasting stations to be part of the association.

The event was attended by the Vice President 1 of the association, Akinyemi Olatoye – Alawiye Federation, the Chairman of Ogun state chapter, Gbenga Goke-Fadiran, Yeyeluwa Ibiyemi Ajadi, Elder Goke Babalola, National and State Excos and other Members of ANBROAD.
