Gov. Masari Sacks Commissioner, Permanent Secretaries, Board Chairman Over Tinubu Loss In Katsina
KATSINA – The Governor of Katsina State, Aminu Bello Masari has sacked the state Commissioner for Works, Housing and Transport, Hon. Tasi’u Dandagoro.
He also sacked the Chairman, Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Yusuf Barmo; the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Aminu Waziri; and the Permanent Secretary, Sustainable Development Goals, Fatima Ahmed.
This was revealed in a statement released to newsmen on Monday, February 27, 2023 by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Muntari Lawal.
He said he terminated their appointment to fulfill his administration’s promises to strategize, realign and adjust his cabinet.
He ordered the concerned political and public servants to release all government’s properties in their care to their respective permanent secretaries “or the most senior director as the case may be”.
Some sources revealed that their dismissal may be connected with their alleged anti-party activities.
It would be recalled that the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC lost the presidential poll in the state which is the home state of the president Muhammadu Buhari.
