IPEF Endorses Okubadejo As Yayi’s Running Mate, Announces Planned Honour

ABEOKUTA – The Ijebu Professional Excellence Foundation (IPEF) has thrown its weight behind Otunba Dapo Okubadejo as a preferred running mate to the Ogun State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi.
In a statement signed by its Chairman, Jamiu Saka, the Foundation described Okubadejo as a seasoned professional with the competence, experience, and leadership capacity to effectively complement Adeola on a joint ticket.
Okubadejo, who currently serves as Commissioner for Finance and Economic Adviser to Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, was praised for his track record of meritorious service and contributions to the state’s development.
According to the statement, his background in economic management, governance, and strategic planning positions him as a strong asset in delivering people-oriented and result-driven leadership.
The Foundation also revealed plans to confer a Premium Award of Excellence on Okubadejo in recognition of his contributions to public service and professional development.
The event is expected to draw prominent personalities, professionals, and stakeholders from across Ijebuland and beyond.
