Mother Seeks Gov. Abiodun, Senators Yayi, Shuaib Salisu, Others Financial Aid For Son’s Bone Cancer

ABEOKUTA – A single mother, Sholola Islamiat Omolara, is seeking financial assistance from kind-spirited individuals to help care for her only son, Obadina Folawe Azeem, who suffers from primary malignant bone tumor, a rare heterogeneous intramedullary lesion that affected the entire left thigh.
Ms Sholola Islamiat, in her late 30s, said she had exhausted all personal means and explored numerous local options, but they were unfortunately unsuccessful.

According to her, the crisis started in May, 2025 when Folawe was admitted at Matrix Orthopedic Hospital, Abiola Way, Abeokuta for bone cancer.
She said, ever since, little Folawe, an SS2 pupil at Prime Grace Comprehensive College, Camp, Abeokuta, has been admitted at the hospital and stopped going to school.
However, further tests Crestview radiology clinic, Victoria Island, Lagos confirmed an additional diagnosis of associated soft tissue involvement was noted in the vastus intermedius and medialis muscle, extending from the mid to distal diaphysis at the level of the knee joint.
Now, a single mother with no stable income, Islamiat is reaching out to kind-hearted individuals to help provide ten million (N10,000,000) naira financial support for her son’s surgery, particularly for urgent Osteosarcoma.

She appealed to philanthropists such Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial district, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi and his Ogun Central counterpart, Senator Shuaib Salisu to come to her aid and save her only surviving son from dying.
