NASS Election: Jubilation Galore As INEC Declares GNI Winner Yewa North/Imeko Afon Federal Constituency
AFON – It was jubilation galore at Omidokun Hall, Ayetoro, in Egabdo North Local Government Area of Ogun State, as the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC declared the All Progressives Congress candidate for Egbado North/Imeko Afon Federal Constituency, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, as winner of the election.
The Federal Constituency Collation Officer, Professor Idowu Adeosun, announced that Isiaka scored a total votes of 29,543 while his closest rival Olusoji Titus Eweje polled 17,760 votes.
Isiaka, a first-class graduate of Accounting at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, would be representing his constituents at the Green Chamber in the next dispensation.
He is expected to bring his wealth of experience as a successful professional to facilitate development projects to his constituency.
Speaking with journalists shortly after the declaration, Isiaka, appreciated his people for their support by counting him worthy to represent them at the hallowed chamber.
