Ogun APC Core Progressive Leaders Reaffirm Senator Yayi’s Recognition Of Wards Leadership

ABEOKUTA — Leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Core Progressive, Abeokuta South in Ogun State have assured members of the party that their sacrifices would not go unrewarded.

The Convener of the Core Progressive meeting, Hon. Segun Williams commended members for their steadfastness and loyalty to the APC in Ogun State.

Hon. Williams, a former House of Representatives member, disclosed that the governorship hopeful, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi, has directed that party operations and support be driven from the ward level to ensure inclusiveness and direct impact on members.

“The story has changed for good. We are adopting a new strategy. It is no longer business as usual.

“Senator Yayi has made it clear that leaders must monitor activities from the polling booth. All forms of support will now go directly to the wards so that more of our people can benefit.

“Our strength and backbone is the Almighty God, the Alpha and Omega. With Him, we shall succeed,” Hon. Williams affirmed.

In his contribution, Hon. Dr. Ademolake said the group’s resolve was already yielding positive results.

He revealed that few days after the last meeting, representatives of an NGO visited Abeokuta and expressed willingness to partner with the Ogun APC Core Progressive, Abeokuta South on empowerment programs that will reach the masses directly.

Also speaking, Alhaji Wasiu Shodipo thanked members for their commitment and assured them of a new era of transparency and inclusiveness within the party.

“This is the dawn of a new era for us. It will not be business as usual. Every loyal member will feel the impact,” he said.

Other speakers who spoke at the meeting emphasized unity, voter education, and aggressive grassroots mobilization as key to securing victory in the 2027 general elections.

In his closing remarks, Alhaji Shodipo appreciated all participants and urged members to remain united and focused.
