Ogun FA Chairman Congratulates Soname On Beyond Limits FA’s Gothia Cup Triumph
ABEOKUTA – The Chairman of the Ogun State Football Association, Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi, has congratulated Hon. Kunle Soname following the remarkable triumph of Beyond Limits Football Academy at the 2026 Gothia Cup in Sweden.
Beyond Limits Football Academy emerged champions after defeating ASEC Mimosas of Cote d’Ivoire in the final, successfully defending the title they won last year and reaffirming their status as one of Africa’s leading youth football academies.
Reacting to the achievement, Alhaji Majekodunmi described the victory as a proud moment for Ogun State and Nigeria, praising Hon. Soname for his unwavering commitment to youth football development.
The Ogun FA Chairman and Executive Board Member of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), commended the football investor for consistently raising the bar, setting new standards in talent development, and building a sustainable pathway for young Nigerian footballers to compete and excel on the global stage.

Beyond Limits Football Academy completed the tournament unbeaten, recording five wins and one draw, scoring 30 goals while conceding just once on their way to lifting the coveted Gothia Cup title for the second consecutive year.
