BREAKING! NLC Strike Prevents Super Eagles Players From Joining Camp

UYO – Following the indefinite strike embarked upon by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC), many Super Eagles invited players were prevented from entering the camp.

This is as the Super Eagles prepare for Friday’s World Cup qualifying match with South Africa.

According to information from the Super Eagles camp in Uyo, 15 players took part in a Monday morning comprehensive training session at the practice pitch of the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.

The other eight players who are reportedly in the country could not get to Uyo “because of the ongoing Nigeria Labour congress strike which has stalled domestic flights”, Sports Village Square reliably gathered.

The affected players are Maduka Okoye, Semi Ajayi, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Calvin Bassey, Frank Onyeka, Alex Iwobi, Ademola Lookman and Paul Onuachu.
