Support Tinubu’s Administration, APC Chieftain Urges Nigerians, World Leaders

ABEOKUTA – A Chieftain of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), Alhaji Abdulwahab Korede Quadri has called on Nigerians, irrespective of political affiliations, ethnicity or religion to give maximum support to the Tinubu/Shettima administration to turn around the nation’s economy.

Quadri also urged Nigerians to intensify prayers on the president’s efforts to realize the policies and programmes as encapsulated in his campaign manifesto and inaugural address.

Alhaji Korede Quadri stated this on Tuesday in a statement signed by his media aide, Adejola Adeyemi Crown.

The party chieftain expressed confidence in Tinubu’s antecedent, political and executive prowess as exhibited as the former Lagos State Governor.

He assured that Tinubu – led administration will not lower the standards of good governance and delivery of democratic dividends to make life easier for the Nigerian masses.

He said, “I joined other World leaders and Nigerians to congratulate our new President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and His Vice President, Senator Kassim Shettima on their successful inauguration and assumption of office”.

“I am confident in Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s political track records and his achievements as the builder of modern Lagos, during his administration as the Lagos State governor and I am optimistic that President Tinubu will not lower the standard of governance for the delivery of dividends of democracy to Nigerians”.

“I therefore call on Nigerians irrespective of political affiliation or religious beliefs to support and pray for the President Tinubu – led administration for maximum performance”.

Alhaji Korede, while appealing to Nigerians for better understanding on the “no more subsidy” statement of the news President, revealed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government is sincere with its determination to finding permanent solutions to the fuel crisis in the country.

He thereafter warned economic saboteurs, who often perpetrate harmful and regressive crimes against the economy of the nation to desist, most especially the subversive elements in the petroleum products supply and distribution chain in the country.

“I am thereafter calling on Nigerians to show better understanding on the “no more subsidy” statement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during his Inauguration on the 29th of May, 2023 at the Eagle Square, Abuja as it is a way to finding a lasting solution to the lingering crisis in the petroleum sector”.

“I am however urging those economic saboteurs to desist by way of creating artificial scarcity that may affect the goodwill of this new government that is just less than a week old,(especially those in the petroleum products supply and distribution chain),as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will leave no stone unturned in a bid to rescue Nigeria”, he added.
