Police Launch Manhunt For Escaped Bisexual Suspect In Abuja
FCT – Police operatives at the force headquarters in Abuja have confirmed that a suspected gay suspect, Adafin Adetokunbo Michael, who escaped from police custody in Lagos, has been located in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
A police officer who pleaded anonymity told our Correspondent that an intelligence report confirmed that the suspect, Michael, was sighted in Kubwa, Airport Road, Abuja, along with some suspected gay comrades.
Recalled that on August 16, 2026, Michael was taken into police custody for allegedly involved in bisexual activity with his partner (now at large) in a Lagos Hotel but was granted bail overnight with the help of his solicitor.
The eyewitness explained that Michael, who was unsuspected of any surveillance, had gone to the hotel for his usual sexual engagement with his partner (now at large) when some angry youths stormed the hotel with dangerous weapons to attack him for negatively influencing the community to youths
Our reporter reliably gathered that, when the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ogombo Police station, in Eti-osa, Lagos West resumed work the following day, he was livid with his officers for granting bail to the suspected bisexual without charging him to court.
Immediately, the DPO declared Adafin Adetokunbo Michael wanted for breach of public peace, and urged the general public to report any information on how to locate the escaped suspect to the nearest police station.
The anonymous officer, however, said that when police operatives stormed the hideout in an undisclosed hotel in Kubwa district of Abuja, not less than 11 other gay suspects were arrested.
The officer hinted that, Michael had already left the scene before the arrival of the operatives.
He, therefore, stressed that, the police would continue to beam its searchlight across the Territory to smoke out Michael and other suspects.
