Rival Cult Groups Hack Three To Death, Cut off Victims’ Hand, Head In Ogun

ABEOKUTA – In a horror-movie-like, suspected rival cult groups have killed three persons and cut off the victim’s left hand, beheading another’s head in Alaroro, Ijoko community in the Ota area of Ogun State.

In the attack on Friday, suspected Eiye confraternity killed a leader of the Aiye Black Axe simply known as Adisa and cut off his left hand and allegedly dumped the victims’ remains in an abandoned building.

Although, the cause of the fracas remain unknown as at the time of filing this report.

In retaliation for Adisa, members of Aiye returned on Saturday evening killing two Eiye members in a very brutal manner.

According to an eyewitness, the alleged Eiye member that was beheaded identified as Seun, a fuel attendant at Taidom Filling Station at Alaroro in ljoko.

According to sources, the attackers stormed the filling station on Saturday at around 5:30pm and specifically targeted Seun, shooting him first and causing everyone nearby to flee.

They then finished him off and beheaded him.

The Aiye gang, therefore, hung Seun’s head on the Sango-Ota bridge and took his body with them.

The streets of Ijoko have been deserted, with residents living in palpable fear.

While the incident lasted for about 30minutes, there was no presence of police at the scene.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer in Ogun State, SP Omolola Odutola told Daily Champion that she was not aware of the incident.

Odutola said the command has not been briefed by the Divisional Police Officer in Ijoko, Ota.

“I don’t have the information sir. If such happened, the DPO Ijoko Ota would have informed us.”
