Senator Adeola Yayi Mourns Passing of Onipokia Of Ipokia

ABEOKUTA – Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, APC, Ogun Gubernatorial Candidate and Senator Representing Ogun West Senatorial District has expressed great sadness at the passing away of His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Yisa ‘Sola Adeniyi Olaniyan, Orijajoogun I, the 46th Onipokia of Ipokia Kingdom.
In a condolence message to the immediate family, the Traditional Council, and the people of Ipokia Local Government, the Senator described the monarch’s transition as a profound loss to the cultural heritage, and development aspirations of Ogun West adding that the deceased royal father was one of the foremost modernizing monarchs in Ogun State.
Senator Adeola stated that Oba Olaniyan short reign came to be defined by a dignified blend of heritage and progress adding that the royal father was widely acknowledged as a custodian of culture, a promoter of peace, and a tireless advocate for education and youth development in Ipokia.
The Senator commiserates with the entire royal family, the traditional council and all sons and daughters of Ipokia at home and in the diaspora.
He prays to God to grant a peaceful repose to the soul of the departed king and fortitude for his immediate family to bear this irreparable loss.
