NNPP Commiserates With Ogun Govt Over Gruesome Murder Of Accountant
....calls for redeployment of security heads
ABEOKUTA – New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has commiserated with the Government of Ogun State on the gruesome murder of the Director of Finance and Accounts, Mr. Taiwo Oyekanmi.
In a Press Release signed by The National Secretary of NNPP, Comrade Oginni Olaposi Sunday, the party said it was obvious that something was wrong with the Security architecture of Ogun State most especially the Police.
Oginni said the attack was a serious indictment on the Ogun State Command of Nigeria Police.
He called for the immediate change of the leadership of Security agencies in the state to send signals and quick arrest of the security collapse of the State.
“A broad day attack on the Ogun State Bullion Van a few meters to Governor’s office and a stone throw to Police Command is unacceptable.
“We hereby urge the Governor not to relent in his efforts to make Ogun State safe and peaceful.
“The Zero Tolerance for Criminal code of Ogun State must not be compromised by the agents of darkness as we’re praying to God to give the family of the deceased Director fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
